Once again.....excellent work, Dan.
Thanks Mike. This is the car i love most, perfect design, very stern for 50's American standards, it thrusts forward even when parked. Check out the other views next week.
I love this! What a cool car. :) This is just wonderful.
Fantastic modelling, that is so close to the 58' Chevy Biscayne (aqua and white) that was my Mom's car! You captured all of those subtle curves perfectly!
AUSUME...............
wonderfull piece, acurate and materials are well done too,how many polys are in a car like this
Killer details!!!
very well done! absolutely worth the excellent ranking!! hope to see more ;)
I love old american car and this chevy is fantastic. great jon here !
uh ,is a great work of modeling buenisimo!
Great job! I'm looking forward to the other views. What did you use for reference?
Thanks for the comments. This was done after a lot of references (some books and magazines). It's not so many polys because most parts including the bodyshell have the Symmetry modifier, and are meshsmoothed to 1 iterations with rendering meshsmooth to 3 iterations. I tinkered a lot with the color scheme to end up with Dusk Plum and India Ivory. Check out a couple of other views.
