Brilliant and original, with exquisite coloring, and precise light and transparency! Also the title, which waxes open-ended, whether in regard to the modern museums, the 3D film, sliced and parafin-impregnated specimens under the microscope, waxen flowers and models, wax writing tablets (hints of ancient alphabets and hieroglyphs), and even ancient encaustic funerary portraiture....
