Description
hey everyone! not much to say about this one--everything modeled in bryce (thanks for the feedback from the forum!) and the horse statues in front from poser.
textures from mayang, some modified in photoshop.
render time was about 13 hours a 144rpp and DOF applied. postwork in photoshop was mostly just added lighting effects. the stars in the sky were made in universe image creator and then added in photoshop.
once again thanks to everyone for the help on this, and dont worry the roman army will be in my next image :)
thanks for viewing!
this is part of a group of images im making of the roman colosseum, so you wont see that last of this:)

Wow, I love the modeling and the POV. I think the way you colored this scene too really speaks volumes. This is an awesome render! :)
That is one badass model! I bet you could sell that puppy in the MP. Great mats and render too.
wonderful work, I really like the DOF render, very smooth
Great ...I can't wait to see the series. Your textures are awsome.
This is a truly excellent work of art!
This is beautiful modeling and textures. Excellent work.
When it comes to modelling, you are up there with the best of them.
Wow... great! Amazing modeling!
Awesome sense of size. Kinda reminds me of "Gladiator" the movie. Excellent work!!!
Great Roman construct architect. Wonderful DOV. Good luck on your next pictorial adventure....:)
very very good
Brilliant image. I've just spent ten minutes looking at this picture in awe of the work you have done. Congratulations. I would have liked to see the statue and horses at least twice the size they are to add even more majesty to the scene and one further comment if I may, the duplication of the flags is not in keeping with the detail of the pic as a whole and Roman buildings are generally covered with carved inscriptions of one sort another. However fully deserves an excellent ranking. Dennis
excellent! :)
nos morituri te salutam!..;)
Magnificent!
Fantastic work, Jordan! The modelling, the lighting, everything. Awesome.

The model turned out perfectly, Jordan. Plus, in this render there's your ligthing touch. Most excellent.
Stunning render! It turned out great! Looking forward to the next. :)
I think it's awesome, the modeling and the textures and lighting...! Only thing I would say is that the DOF is unnecessary on this image, it makes it seem smaller, like a model of the Colosseum, instead of vast. Just an idea...
WOW! BRAVO! I can even hear the crowd as the games begin!!! Truly excellent work!!!!!!!!!
a lover of ancient cultures can't avoid to praise you here :) Compliments :)
Brillant composition ! Excellent modelling and very bautiful colors, light and textures ! Great technique ! Congratulations !
