Description
Walking in my garden an agitated flapping noise caught my ear. A buttie in a spiderweb, quick to the rescue. To late the bite and the damage was already done, she died in my hand. But hey I'm a fotographer too and made a photo of her wing. Me think mankind didn't invent pointilism-art?!
Papaguru.

Aww poor butterfly, at least you captured her beauty :)
THe wings of the butterflies are among the marvels of nature!
Fascinating abstract. No doubt your heroic efforts will be entered into your karma file. :)
Sad and Beautiful
Sorry you couldn't save it, PapaG, but that's the way of life. Beautiful capture, nontheless. =)
You tried. Bet the spider was angry with you. Facinating wing.

ones dead, the others bread, thats natures low. One of the reasons why i dont like spiders. Beautiful macro PapaG.
What do you want me to say?! I have never seen such a thing before. The detail, the colour, killing me. Why wouldn't you let the spider finish his dinner?! Bad boy!
AWWW, that's so sad... wips at a tear... nature must run it's course...Wonderful shot! I love the colors!
Gorgeous image. If you hadn't mentioned the butterfly wing, I would have thought it was a beaded or lame fabric.
"How the hell does he do that?!?!" he asks himself. Damn you're good!!!
