Description
Hey `wavers et all. Haven't posted much these days, been busy with summer activities and work. I hit a major Lightwave block (must be the heat) but now I think I'm out of it(Thank god). So here's some creatures and charactors I've been working on I threw into a quick scene for you all to see.:-) With exception to Michael and Judy, all models by me, UVs painted in Photoshop and DeepPaint with LW procedurals/gradients/weightmaps/ect, rendered in LW with a bit of XDOF. Hair on the crocodillian/ball was made with Grassgen and the tree growing out of Judy's head: Treesdesigner. Thanks for viewing...

What a motley crew;) great charactors love the dry textures and lighting. Murph
this is a really nice image, cool atmosphere!
Excellent artwork!!!!
I've always wondered what Morticia Addams's grandmother's mother's side of the family looked like. :o) Good to see you posting again! You have been missed.
Excellent work. There are some similarities in there with my family....
Surreal creatures living in a fantastic world. Excellent.
welcome back daeve!!!:)your surrealism is always the best!!!
Great ccharacters man! I love it ;-)
Rendered in stone and steel the family has architechtural permanence.
no blocks will block you that long.. you've got the artist's soul so it can stay quiet for too long and this proves it :)
Sadly it looks a little like my family all the way down to uncle Norm who's had a tree growing out of his head for as long as I can remember. Excellent work.
I missed this one, the surreal is tough to pull off in Lightwave but you do it well, this image is as creepy as a mushroom induced dream. Very organic. I dig it!
God I'm cracking up at Erika's comment. Reminds me a little of Gonarch's Lair in HalfLife.
