This is from one of the hundreds of seminars going on at the Con. This particular one is on the hit Sci-Fi show, Stargate SG1 (Starring Richard Dean Anderson). It's my favorite show of all time, so I had to be there. The two people in these photo are Don Davis (who plays General Hammond, the commander of Stargate command) and Amanda Tapping (who playes Major Samantha Carter, part of the SG1 team). The show starts off right where the original movie left off and is now in it's 7th Season and will be heading into an 8th season next year. IT's funny because both of the actors don't really seem like the part they play on the show. Amanda Tapping is amazingly a goof ball and really funny! Don Davis was also cracking jokes and having a good time. Much different than their roles!
Camera is a Minolta Dimage 7hi (5 megapixels). Reduced in size about 33%. I had the camera set to the fastest shutter speed I could to get enough light and make less room for camera shake. Focus was manual.

Thanks for sharing... I never miss an episode!
One of my favorite shows. I've been to many sci-fi cons and two World Cons (both in Baltimore). I videoed the GAMA awards at Origins 2002 which had actors from Babylon 5 and John Rhys Davies.
Is it true the series is supposed to end with a new motion picture ? Anyway thanks for sharing !
Well, season 6 was supposed to be the last season, but then they all realized that the show is at the top of it's game, so they decided to continue it on. As for the movie, it's in negotiations right now...
A great show indeed, Hammond of Texas. however I still say that Farscape was better. Doesn't mean I miss any SG1's but... As for Ms. Tapping, well I will see whatever I can with her in it. Love her look and her sense of humor.
Speaking of Bra'Tec, you may recognize this fellow who was also at Comic Con 2003 - http://www.bobafettmp.com/warbirds/comiccon2003/images/pict5026.jpg He signed an autograph for me and he posed in a photo with me. He's a nice guy! He said to me after he signed the photo (you can see him signing it in that photo) "Britt, Chel nok means Good Luck in Chulak." Great guy!
