soft treating of a subject that is not soft in itself. The orange background works surprisingly well here.
Nice colours Steve, really makes the plant stand out from the background:) You must have a very steady hand, not using a tripod:O
That's the DOF mastery, Steve. How did you do that? :))) Beautifully composed shot, also color-wise, and a great title, too :)))
You know, when I got this back from the lab last week, I considered it a "mistake." I'd intended a sharper shot with deeper depth of field. But the more I looked at it over several days, the more appealing it became. I don't know why, really. I just decided it was kind of cool just as it is. :)
It's amazing!
All I can say is that it's wonderful! I love the contrast, very beautiful shot! =)
Steve! It a really great image! Colours and this "Blur" effects - super cool! My vote!
i have to agree with lalani, very beautiful shot, love the warm colors!! ;0]
I am a bit like this F&J...the more You look at Me...over several Day's...trapped in a Mine Shaft with Me....the more appealing I look ...on the eighth Day sigh...You have a lovely Stalk :)
Excellent shot and edit
A masterwork! The colours, the blurish background all is fantastic! Great title too!
Luv colors and DOF, beautiful image!
Starry eyed and lovely
I would agree with you...this is just wonderful as is.....
Very cool photo. I like the focus on this. -Peace :-)
the DOF works for me- luv the title too! :]
I prefer this to the other one
Oh! How could I miss this one? It's really beautiful
I also agree, very appealing. Love the contrast between the green of the plant and the orange background. Ya gotta love mistakes like this!
Ah, man, this is great. The green is beautiful, as is the blurred background. What kind of a lens did you use to get is so blurred. The macro on my digital camera can't do that.
Very cool photo!!..
