Description

Thanks for viewing. This image is really wide.... You may have to scroll sideways. Didn't have time to start from scratch tonight so did this one from my 'Street Scene' image (with plenty of changes). Firstly we are now driving on the other side of the road ;). The tricycle is off the road and its a peaceful afternoon sunset. Thanks to Alain Gracia for the houses and the tricycle from 3Dcafe. The rest is Vue.

Nice scene and great lighting effect. My only problem is the extreme letterbox format: (a) Very few people will be able to view this without scrolling sideways, which means it is impossible to properly appreciate the balance of the composition (b) IMHO the car on the left would be better with the lower bodywork and wheels visible - it seems a little strange to me, especially considering that the width of the image compared to the minimal height leaves ample room for this without significant detriment to the "wide-screen" effect.

I like it scott, excellent stuff. wide screen format was off my screen, but it was worth scrolling.

Now, I've looked at both versions, and they are both excellent, of course - and of the two I have to admit that I like this one better, though I had some doubts earlier. The cropping/layout is intersting and original. Well, hat's off (still think one should see more of the car in front, though LOL)

Nice one Sacada! In the ongoing debate "To crop or not to crop" I like this version much better :) I like the light and touch of volumetrics too. a little less the textures on the houses...

I like this cropped, although a bit large for my screen. You're really having fun with those car reflections!!
