this is looking really cool :)
a few things that might add to it though, as far as I can tell there appears to be no dust or mud on the ship that would be thrown up on impact, maybe add some glowing areas on the ship as well to give the impression of smashed electrical equipment, sparks etc

There re some very nice things about this.. the rock, for instance - most excellent. And the character pose is quite natural, too. You may want to give him a right foot instead of 2 left feet, though... All in all, a tough scene to take on, so, very nice!
