I know people don't usually go for these close up type images, but I had not contributed lately and this one was one that I personally enjoyed, and I hope that you will too.

Love it! Has an almost painted quality to it.
I thought they looked like those weird distorted basis displacements.. Ya gotta love distorted basis functions !!!
