Description
Modelled in Rhino 3d, rendered in Penguin
My very first try both in Rhino and 3d-Appz in general. So it's nothing special/complex - if i'm in the mood then I'll add some more details.
The Vehicle is a Light Recon Vehicle for the Battletech-Universe. It's part of a Fan-Project (with official permission) which will release a Tech-Level 3 Readout at the end of the year. The pic shows more or less the presentation-design (to reduce print costs it has to be b&w/greyscale).

dude this thing is awesome. also would like to see a wire frame posted in the rhio forum..
nice design. reminds me of some of the early concepts for the colonial marine APC
Damn that is kewl...
awesome modeling, very deailetd and technically perfect
This cool model was your first try? Wow, quite promising :)
very nice.
I cant wait to see the completed model, This is FANTASTIC
THX for all your kind comments - I'm sure surprised and happy :-). I'll soon post a wireframe in the Rhino Forum
I like it - however the rungs on the side of the vehicle seem to throw me off (scale wise). Maybe if you removed every other rung and made them a tad wider it would be more in tune with the cockpit area of the vehicle? Other than that - very nice ! :)
Wonderful job.
@sharp: the shape of the vehicle suggests it is the size of a car, but actually it's supposed to have the size of an APC with the wheels having a diameter around 1,5 meters, so the scale shoul be ok passably. But thx anyway for the hint - I will consider this in my future designs !
Sheesh, now thats going to look great as a finished item. If thats the light version, imagine the heavy tank lol.
It looks awesome! Nice job!
love to give that baby a test drive when she coming on the market
