Description
Haven't posted any 2D art in quite a while so I dug up an old lightning sketch I did hoping to use it as a basis for a 3D model.
Just thought I'd toss it up there to see what you guys thought about it. I used to do a lot of quick sketching (10 minutes or less) as an exercise, but these days the mouse is more familiar than the pencil.

There are many subtleties within this drawing. I can offer no words for improvement.
I really would love to see you posting these awesome efforts more often (though your 3D art is superb) because really you have a wonderful shading ability and delicate penciling...this is so very beautiful :)
alright moe. this is a great sketch. so why is it that you shy away from painting texture maps? you apparently have drawing down. I'm sure color is great too! Come on, marry these two art together! Nice work as always, Pete

excellent sketch, the head, eye and gills r great.. realistic.. fish in their simplicity make them quite hard to draw correctly Excellent :o)
