This is a idea for a body i came up with....im not too sure if i like it due to the fact that it just doesnt scream "dog" lol any ideas would be helpful =)

screw it if doesn't scream dog it looks more interesting hinting at the idea of a dog.
You should never compromise your own artistic vision (refering to your forum thread) for the sake of pleasing the masses. If it makes you happy than that's good enough. Now, for this render, I'm not diggin the textures very much. Perhaps you are trying to make him look old and weathered but I'd like to see it just a bit cleaner looking. The modeling is pretty smart (with the exception of the front wheel, which looks like the part of a lighter that you spin to make the flame). I also think the lighting looks a bit flat, perhaps some stronger shadows would clear that up. All in all, I'd say your on the right track. Keep up the good work. -- 3d_e
it looks really interesting I'd love to see a front lit version of the model to see the detail. It looks like you put a lot of work into it but it's hard to see it all.
