Besides being an all-around beautiful photo, it conveys a feeling of power.
Absolutely marvellous ! The colors, the lighting and the details are impressive . Awesome shot, Danny !
Seems to be going about bisness as usual - Quit a striking Butterfly - almost dignified :) Is this film ?
Thanks everybody for all the comments it is not film on this occasion I use a Minolta Dimage 7HI these days after much deliberation but for me its 28-200 and quick zoom were critical attributes and at 5 mega Pixel with Raw files and Tif with an excellent lense have never been disappointed. There are a lot of Dimage owners out there who Iam sure are as pleased as me I am sure.. Funds permitting Iwould have gone for a Fuji S2 Pro or maybe the new Canon next time maybe .. For film which I also use I continue to use the excellent but old pair of Canon's an F1 and A1 with a whole range of superb lenses collected over the years and cant justify changing all of this ..Sigh..
Ah Dan, the Yin with the Yang. A fine photo indeed. Makes me really smile though to see such a fine surrealist artist dabbling in the reality of a photograph. Being an ex newspaper photographer (20years) I find that the creative vision of reality walks very close to the paths of creative inspiration...which can lead just about anywhere. Keep creating my friend. In every way shape and form! -jay
