Description
A small break in my strange animal serie ... this morning I wanted to do a kind of glowing jewel; here it is, modelled in Amorphium 1.0. As you know, there is no hdri or radiosity or GI in Vue, but for reflective materials, some nice things can be done. Please see my other related pics for further informations ! This one is just in final mode (2h35m) so you should be as far as 1-2 m from your monitor to see it (ultra should take 100-200h, much more than this morning could handle). Anyway, thanks very very much for viewing and commenting ;=)

I understand what you are looking at here. The backside of a window facing South is a good place to experience this. Compare the actual to a raytrace or Phong. (snicker, laugh out loud uncomfortably) My first comment was "there is no such thing as black noise." (This was for a black satin finish Kawasaki ZR-1 egine I modelled. grimace, try to explain) Your efforts to get the light to seek it's proper place are commendable.(you can tell I like brunettes)
It looks so real, the reflections, the detail, this is great.
I would love something like that in my collection :) Nice job :)
Fantastic! Spectacular modelling!
I don't understand how this was created , however, it is quite beautiful..!
