I'm so glad to be back after these last hard-work weeks!
It's been an awful lot of time since I wanted to make a Richard Wagner's picture, and this month's challenge theme seemed the perfect occasion, since there's no music in the whole world that moves me like Wagner's, and specially his tetralogy, "Der Ring des Nibelungen". In this scenery there's more than one open reference to the controversial, new and astounding "mise en sc

WOW!!! this is fantastic! It is amazing how music can inspire people to perform at their best, and you surely have with this image. Love the furnaces with their steam, and the lighting is super too.

Wonderful stuff Stefano, it looks hot in there!
Hi Stefano, the reason i always like your works its that you are making very different kind of Artworks. By this way this image is really excellent
Great idea and render Stefano!
Outstanding image! Great classical theme, fully realised by the atmosphere and volumetric effects!
A great idea! Very mystic! :-)
very expressive!! love the way how it looks! excellent job
Wow, Stefano! An excellent work! Very cool!! Excellent and my vote to you! Love the theme!
I have that DVD set and am lusting after the Metropolitan production as well. It's a wonder that such a rich seam of inspirational moments has yet to gain a broader audience (especially here in Renderosity). I think I should follow your lead and create something as well. The scale of the image reproduces that wonderful illusion of vastness that the production gave to the stage and I feel the ambience very strongly. Wotans brooding fills the air, the futility of the frenetic labour of the Nibelungen, the awareness of his own futile efforts, that he knows in his heart, will ultimately fail. **** Brilliant colour and lighting sir!
Einfach toll! This is simply great. What a great talent. (don't blush!) ... love the coloring.
Ottima interpretazione del nostro musicista preferito...
scheme is amazing
