Description
This is my first real try with just photoshop painting. I used to do portraits with pastels. It took a little while to get the hang of the different style of painting, but I am very happy with the results.
I want to thank ToxicAngel for giving me encoragement to give this a shot. Without you this would have never happened! *HUGE HUGS*!!!
Here is a link to the in progress images.

D'oh! that.. is ...the most awesomest portrait done in PS that I've seen..O_O I wish I could do that good in Photoshop!...or even half as good wouldn't hurt either..^-^; It's so detailed I can actually see subtle details in his skin..>o< ranking it 10,000,000,000!
I've become a huge fan of Viggo since his portrayal as Arargorn. I liked him very much in previous films, but I honestly think he captured Aragorn in the LOTR movies, showing him to be extraordinarily masculine. What I see here is the same thing Viggo caught my breath with. His eyes are looking at something, and you can feel his intensity! He could be looking at a hobbit to protect, a war beaten old man he can learn from, or his beloved Arwen. Cheers to you!
GREAT.
Perfect!
Please Please Please Do Legolas next!!!!
Great work and terrific detail.Simply splendid.
This is wicked cool! Bravo ^_^
