Description
Russian Gulch State Park, Mendocino County, California, 1995.
Pentax P30T, Takamura 28-70 Zoom. Technically not so great, but I like the scenery.
It was a great hike, and I've been back many times. Thanks for looking. :)

Fallen trees make a great natural bridge. Looks inviting, and I dig the ferns too.
This is beautiful scenery... would love to take a hike here :)
A wonderful place... can understand you've been back often ;o)
As a kid, I was lucky enough to grow up in an area surrounded by forest just like this. (Right down to the log over the stream) It brought back a LOT of incredibly pleasant memories. Thank you.
Oh yea, this is my kind of place he he. Looks like a great place for a hike...Love the greens...excellent.
"If You go into the Wood's alone...You're in for a Big Surprise..." Watch the Teddies don't get ya...You are a long way from the Street's of SF... be careful. Oh...yeah...I love it!
95? ""Technically not so great""? Why? I think it's an excellent shot.. colors, lines. I like it!
Such a dynamic composition ...beutiful!
Looks like a Masema Forest....! Beautiful F&J!
Wonders abound in a image like this - You gatta feel it - Very Cool Stuff -
This shot works for me because there is a sense of depth and perspective. Hard to do in the middle of the forest. The fallen trees and the pathway make this shot great.
Bringing up the rear, I love this too! beautiful
Looks like you could get lost in there.. nice composition and colours:))
Nice image. Had not yet perfected your unique technique, but still worth showing.
Cool shot, reminds me of some hikes I have done yrs. ago in Oregon with that balance beam of a fallen Tree. (also reminds me I should be getting out more here in WA while I am still alive)I like how the light hits that. -Peace :-)
it suggests well the agic of the place and the matte colours give a feeling of freshness that I dig, particularly in the tropical climate I am in lately :)
i can smell the pine, hopefully no mosquitoes! very cool walk of a place! :]
beautiful, beautiful, beautiful....love the criss-crossing lines created by the trunks.
You are right, the scenery is totally lovable. And I don't really see the 'not so great' part :)))
