A winter's day,
in a deep and dark December,
gazing from my window
to the streets below
on a freshly fallen silent shroud of snow
I am a rock,
I am an island,
And a rock feels no pain
And an island never cries.

this is wonderful Syyd the poem really expresses what the man seems to be feeling.
Well Syyd I could just stare at the poor sad face all day. His eyes have so much soul and the words of the poem give his spirit a voice. Both Adam and your interpretation of him here are magnificent.
