"You cannot hurt me savage fool!" the dark figure roared and raised the war hammer. They fought for hours, each equalling the other in strength and skill. Finally the warrior saw an opening, and he charged in, plunging the full length of his blade into the other's throat. Blood gurgled out of the dark one's mouth as his eyes stared at the warrior in pure shock. "But... but I cannot be destroy..." His final words were lost as his lifeless body collapsed. The warrior knelt by his slain foe and recalled the memories he had of his loved ones he lost at the hands of this evil man. He did not feel satisfaction at seeing his blood flow, nor did he feel happiness for having avenged his family's deaths. He felt empy. There was nothing left for him but a world of blood and death. There was nowhere for him to go, no home to return to.
