This is an updated version of the armor I used in this picture:

There is still much to do, but I am confident that I will get that done within the next two weeks. The whole armor package will most likely be made available here in marketplace, but first I want to optimise the mesh, complete the package with loads of additional stuff and textures.

This is actually pretty cool, and rather versitile. It could be used for police or if textured right, or just black, can be used in sci fi scenes like in starship troopers
Thats what I thought, too. I have listed some of the texture options I intend to do with the other picture of it. It is supposed to fill the gap between all the medieval armor and the purely sci-fi stuff. There is very few contemporary armor around.
Very nice work. I agree, we need some contemporary military gear. My one small criticism is that the grenades/thunderflashes look a little too small. They're not party poppers! nice work anyway =)

Great bit of body armour, I like the optional ammo pouches idea, most you have them or not. If the grenades are props they could be scalled any size you want. What would make this armour perfect is multi textured zones if you have not got them, so you can have the shoulders and pouches one texture and the main suit another.
