The world was once full of colours
Bright reds and greens and yellows too
But now all the colours have fled
My life has bled to the floor
I am alone now, alone in the middle of nowhere
A tree that died before it reached the stars
Look at this pathetically weak glow
Where are the flames that once consumed me?
I am alone now, alone in the middle of nowhere
There is no one left to burn for
I am surrounded by a world
Whose veil of darkness i cannot see through
This world is my home now
This loneliness will be my only friend again
This vast emptiness will now fill my soul
