Spike II
Comments are Welcome.
Photoshop/Painter/Vue
Spike, himself, was painted in Photoshop 6 from a blank canvas and no tracing. The background was rendered in Vue and FX added in Painter to make it seem more painted. The two were then recomposited in Photoshop where the frame and the signature was added.
I had a lot of trouble with his hair. Platinum and curly made for a difficult combination. More practice on that.

Ohh you know how I LOVE Spike! He is my all time favorite Scooby Character :) You have captured him to perfection!
Another beautiful, outstanding rendition. Your portrait skills are a class of instruction everytime I view them. They are always right on the money with enough airbrush quality that astonishes me. Anytime I think of doing any portraiture, I always reference your work, it is a class of instruction in itself. Thank you.

It's superb. Excellent painting.
Awesome! Wish I could draw at all!
Stunning work. I recognized it instantly. It is very hard to give life to a painting, and especially to make it look like someone- you did both with an amazing amount of talent. I like the styalistic approach and how you left what looks like brush strokes, it really adds something.
you art is so cute and excellent as always. :)
I love his.
I think you did an excellent job with Blondy Bear! He was my favorite on the Buff Show! You Rock!
