Description
This man was suffering both physical and emotional pain. Image taken with the left hand, self image of me. Light is natural sun, a small beam allowed through the trees. I am a newbie at this.

A very strong and well done image. Excellent.
I like this even better than the color version, which has more of a spotlight effect from the sun; this seems more natural, and the closer view focuses my attention on the portrait's drama, which is in his (your) expression.
This is an incredible image...and have ot agree, it is even more intense in B&W than in color for me too..

You was right to reduce colors to BW the red was quite disturbing the overall intention
