Description
"So it's 2005, after Formula One failing to give the style of racing that manufacturers want a new championship starts. Called Formula Seven the cars are based on the Lotus/Caterham Seven format, rear wheel drive two seaters.
All cars are powered by a sealed 600bhp supercharged V8 produced by TVR. There is no telemetry data allowed to be sent via radio between car and pits, so the passenger basically acts as an on board telemetry engineer, all cars must have two occupants and the driver/passenger combos are all handicapped to the same weight.
The race series includes, long circuit, short circuit, sprint and drag racing events.
The featured car is BMW's prototype in test three weeks before the first event of the series"
Ok so basically the car is a cross between BMW, Caterham and a street rod. All modeled in max, textures in photoshop. This was started for the march Max challenge but didn't get completed in time :-(

I love it, but then I like all things roadster like. The chrome work at 1st I thought was just a bitmap reflection but then I noticed it isn't it is raytraced, however maybe turning the reflection map strengh down a tab to maybe 80 or 60 even,, (not sure how that would look, it just seems to be mirror reflective, also maybe a little dark noise to make it look burnt (like exhausts do. but please dont take this as negative, it's showroom mint I understand that ;-) I'm a sucka for concept roadsters that look like they would work (or future F1 variants :-) )
What a great model!! I know how much work it can be! Your patience paid off!!! Wonderful!
Wow...you created this car?? Totally awesome! Purple too!! Love this one. :-)
