Description

This is a snapshot of my on-going visualization of Captain Nemo's Nautilus as described by Jules Verne in 20,000 Leagues under the Sea. Nemo's dining room is a showcase for the talents of Gordana Beaulieu (www.gordanadesign.com) whose freebie decorative floor and wall textures define the appearance of the room and who created the special luminous ceiling that lights the scene. The doors and upholstery textures are from KTN 3D. The large sideboard on the left is VK's. The other is my own creation. The table is based on one from 3DCreator and the dishes are SAMS3D's. The cat, Zoe, is the P4 cat using one of the excellent Digiport cat poses from DAZ. The scene, rendered in RayDream, is lit by the luminous ceiling, simulated by an array of 25 lights that wash out most of the shadows. See more of the Nautilus WIP here: http://www.vernianera.com/Nautilus/tour/tour.html
