All quiet ...except the occasional backfire!

There was a photo I liked in a magazine, so decided to try to build it. The textures, details of the windows and doors, stairways and plantings, the car were my own, but it's a type of San Francisco apartment you might find.

Excellent work on this street scene, and I especially like the mood/atmosphere created by the darkness of the night. Sure glad I'm not walking down that alley, who knows what lurks there! Enjoyed viewing.

Well, dont know what the original looked like, but it cant be as good as this! Excellent modeling Jim, as well as the whole scene! But what about the bullit holes in the walls, and some friendly looking neighbours with trenchcoates and violin cases...??? :)

Amazing perspective and wonderful textures, Jim. This is dizzying and detailed at the max. The old car and the yellowish light add magically to the atmosphere. I'm really enthusiast of this image.
