Actually lions have very strong family bonds...real lions. They are also predators by Nature, and can't live without killing for their food. This one is probably a rogue, and a lioness at that...the most dangerous and the one who makes most of the kills.

What do you have against lions? All that aside, my first thoughts on this picture was to make comparisons with Mike Hoffmans Tigress, a character who also breifly apprered in her own Science Fantasy comic. The character in your picture may be evil in her own right, but it's still a good chatacter study. I especially like the skin texture.
