Description

The Smithsonian's X-15,sans lower ventral fin, it is my favorite X plane. there were three made. It still holds the fastest powered manned aircraft record at 6.72 Mach. That aircraft fried itself and was retired. The other one had a system failure and entered the atmosphere sideways went into a spin and broke up. This is #1.
