Description
This is the Bolivar Lighthouse on Bolivar Pennisula. It is east of Galveston, Texas. It has an interesting history. It's survived several Hurricanes, and the Civil War. When news of the Yankees approaching reached Galveston it was disassembled and hidden so they wouldn't melt it down for ammunition. After the War it was reassembled.
