Description
In preparation for landing
The USS Independence entering orbit around Mars prepares the Lander Cumberland for the trip to the Martian colony Jamestown1 on the planets surface. The model was created in Bryce5 from scratch, all concepts and designs by me. The image of Mars from JPL/NASA with postwork starfield created in Universe. holy nuts and bolts this is cool, massively awesome, :0]
Truly Amazing!
Your best pic on this series, yet.
It's looking better and better with each render BamBam.
Another awesome space pic, David! Other than the top-notch work on modelling (you really teached us a lot with your previous postings!), I like specially the reddish hue light that adds depth to the Independence. A wonderful work.
one tiny note- how does the heat shield swing away to slow down for entry into the atmosphere? It looks from here like it covers the main engines..but it just might be the angle.
Amazing, really looks complex. Excellent modelling. I love the lighting.
wow!!! this is one of my favorites of urs so far! The sheer complexity (as usual!) of it is incredible, and the lighting in that middle section looks real. Excellent work!
