Thanks to everyone who made such nice comments on the pencils of this image, they certainly helped keep me motivated for the 2 solid days it took to colour this, and it's still not quite finished!
(RTV - I know what you mean about the hand, hopefully its a bit less scary now!)

Beautiful work. I can see lots of original thought in the detail you put into this... I hope you are very proud of this.. you certainly should be!
His robes, the sword and the orb in the staff are very well done! i like the magic effects too. May i make a suggestion? The mage's hair and beard colour seem a bit too saturated to me, because quite a lot of strong colours are being used in the image. Excellent job! It'll be even better when finished, i'll bet :) Good luck!
