Well it seems snow pics are popular today. This was going to be my entry for Terracon but I missed the deadline. Hope you like it.

Shame you missed the contest, I think this picture actually has some very good qualities. Simplicity is not always bad and this is such a case. The terrain the POV, the lighting and the snow surface is excellent. Sky is also very good with those big, yet soft winter clouds. Only thing to improve would maybe be to add some more levels to the stone surface. But that is the only thing, and surface is just one element (and often overrated) - so I still think this is an excellent picture.

Well I am cursed. I had this same pic with a modified atmosphere and I changed to stone color to a very light blue, unfortunately I crashed the computer. This is the second time I have lost a world due to the program locking up on a second draft. One day I will learn to save as I go. I will post the new version I have soon.
agree with Xlars ... and: try to give the snow more depth (---> "Scale + Depth" to ~20) great
