I got a little bit obsessed with Pokemon Legends:ZA ^_^ I honestly think it might be my favorite Pokemon game so far (for context, I started the fandom with Pokemon Sapphire/Ruby, the original ones). I just love the characters! For some reason these characters just really appealed to me, as a gamer and especially as an artist. I’m attempting to recreate several of the characters in Daz Studio, trying to be mostly faithful to the originals, but also redesigning a few things (some for aesthetic reasons, but many for practical reasons like not being able to find the perfect dress available, etc.). One of the characters I anticipate being the WORST to try to reimagine accurately is Corbeau, I have NO IDEA how to make something look even close to his custom “Poison” suit. However, he also happens to be my favorite character in the game, so I’m not waiting until I have everything perfect XD Consider this a more “realistic” version of him. Fun Fact: When the game had first been released, my daughter and I noticed how the fandom seems to talk about Corbeau’s shorter-than-average height a lot (calling him a “Short King”, for example). On discovering that he was supposed to be a sort of mafia boss, she started calling him “the Mobbit”. Mob + hobbit = Mobbit. Now I can’t look at him without thinking, “Oh hey, that’s the Mobbit!” XD Corbeau and Pokemon are ©Nintendo, ©Gamefreak and ©Creatures (I think that’s everyone XD) Rendered in Daz Studio Iray.
