Slowly getting back into rendering after a long hiatus. Lots of personal stuff I won't detail too much here. Primarily became disenchanted when this site got FLOODED with AI Slop. Not sure how involved I want to get, but I definitely want to get back into the artistic process. Combined with my photography work with dolls, looking to keep pushing forward. The bare facts: Since my last post, my service as a caregiver has come to an end with the passing of my charge. My "mother" made the last few years of her life absolutely miserable. I found out that some very important "facts" I had believed my whole life were all lies, which pretty much served to sever the last few ties I held to my "mother." I have a partner now, and with their support, have been slowly peeling back layers and layers of trauma and abuse, and reconnecting with my core personality. Anyway, hopefully this is just the first of many new pieces of art I post here! And just say no to GenAI!
