Description
The Oxford Major six seat flyer was also available as a light delivery vehicle known as the Oxford Carrier. It was suitable for shifting small orders or for delivering devices that need installation like built-in ovens or hobs. With one or two seats the small deck was able to take a surprising amount of cargo, tools and/or spare parts. As it was also cheap to run the Oxford Carrier was popular with small, medium and large businesses. The Carrier actually outsold the Oxford Major passenger version on some worlds.
OK, the soft drinks carrier was an excuse to make one with an outrageously colourful skin, and I seem to have managed that quite well. If you look back in my gallery you can see the soft drink bottle, a tiny modelling project for sure, but in the end it inspired that super-bright colour scheme. I used one of the labels I developed for the bottle as inspiration.
