At first, I wanted to make a still life (with appels, wine ect.)... Then, I decided to make only one appel detailed as possible. This has taken 12 hours, and I can

it's quite nice. Does it have a bump map? I think it might also show up more effectively with a darker background for more contrast

You're on a roll, but some shine would be great. The apple looks flat and painted more than a real apple, if that is what you are going for. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for the great response! The appel should look like an older appel, because I think, this brings personality to the image (It was easier to make it look old)...?! Also, I think, this older appels are not so shiny. Thank you all a lot! Peace!

good model, but it looks a lil...flat. try taking a pic of a real apple, and putting that in for a texture layer, and boosting specularity. great work
