Hold Onto Your Dreams
You should hold onto your dreams,
No matter what they might be.
Some people may not understand them
And maybe they don’t even agree.
Your winged horse may look a little funny,
While your prince is not that good looking.
But these are still the things of your dreams,
That will surly start you heart singing.
Your dreams need not be a fairy story,
They can merely be of a simple life.
You may dream of having a loving family,
Maybe you are happy just being a wife.
Some dreams help make a better world,
These are about serving your fellow man.
A world of dreamers may make life better,
When they all do the very best they can.
I know many dreamers through out history,
Looked to the future with great insight.
They were the people who fought for ideas
They held dear, with all of their might.
You should hold onto all your life’s dreams,
When they are of things important to you.
So just keep right on dreaming your dreams,
And this life they will help you get through.
