Description
The stars are the watchers; they watch us while we sleep. Sometimes, on moonless nights, the stars come down to earth and visit women of their choosing. The elders tell us that long ago the stars came down to earth and, for a time, they ruled as gods. But they became tyrants. The people cried out for help. Then the true God raised up heroes to drive the fallen stars away and set the people free once more.
This picture has kind of a Stargate feel to me, so I came up with a story that started there and mixed in a touch of Genesis 6.
