I am Cat! Oh, just look at me, On my fuzzy warm pillow, so perfectly free! I eat up my munchies, oh yum-yum-yum, And sleep like a pro, for I’m never done. With a flip and a flop, I nap and I dream, In a world full of glimmers, I reign supreme. I’m deserving of belly rubs, soft and sweet, With a purr-a-licious tune, I’m the treat you’ll repeat! But wait, what is this? A fluttery thing? A zippity-zoop, with a flap and a fling! It dances and twirls—oh, not on my nose! Buzz off, little flitty! I’m here, and I chose! I am Cat! I demand my soft space, Not a pesky old flapper invading my grace. Go away, you skittery, glittery fluff, I’ll swat at you once, and I’ll say that’s enough! But suddenly—whoosh! It zooms like a dart, This wonky-winged creature has stolen my heart! With colors a-swirling, a zazzly parade, Perhaps there's a game in this fluttery charade? I leap with a sprizzle, I bounce with delight, My kingdom of cushions is now feeling right! With a pounce and a scratch, I declare it a play, Oh, fluttering friend, you can stay... for today! Now I yawn and stretch with a satisfied sigh, I am Cat! Oh, how high I can fly! As the moon starts to rise and the stars twinkle bright, It’s time for more munchies and snuggles all night. So heed my wise words, as great as can be, Find joy in the flutter, and let it be free. I am Cat! I am grand!
