__ ...If you have read the books of Peter Mayle, like "A Year in Provence", you 'll definitely be under the charm of this Northern part of the Provence region which is so different from my native area further upnorth, even in terms of language, cooking, working habits and life philosophy ! Time here doesn’t pass at the same pace as it does back home, and the locals here always have time to do what they love—or have a knack to put off what they enjoy a little less.
__Here 's a few captures of the Luberon then, mostly taken in and on the outskirts of the village of Lourmarin, a true haven of serenity in the off-peak season, with its narrow streets beautiful houses and little cafés, inns and local shopkeepers who know how to make the most of the Mediterranean foods and beverages that bring happiness to the visitors

Mais c'est une véritable publicité pour le Luberon que tu nous fais là! Et en plus quelle générosité! 4 superbes photos d'un seul coup... J'adore! Elles sont toutes si belles que je n'arrive même pas à avoir de préférence ! Bon, ce n'est pas encore pour moi les vacances en dehors du rush d'été mais grâce à toi, je profite de ces belles vues à l'atmosphère automnale! Petit chanceux, va! PS : après une telle mise en bouche, nous attendons de voir d'autres superbes clichés !

What a beautiful place to go walking.
Quand je pense que des gens vont à Pétaouchnok pour leurs vacances alors qu'ils ont à portée sinon de main du moins de roues ou de jambes (pour les courageux !) l'une des plus belles régions en France et même sur terre. Combien de fois suis-je allé à Lourmarin , sans oublier les autres villages de la région ? Tes images rendent un fort bel hommage à ces merveilles.Un très grand bravo

I'm a bit jealous of people that get fall. It lasts a week here, then it's all skelly-trees.
What a unique environment, and beautiful photos. I think it would be wonderful to be able to stay there, away from all the stress. I admire all the photos, but the first one is my favorite with all those beautiful autumn colors, grapes in the foreground and then a church, or monastery and a kind of castle, all in the beautiful mountainous surroundings.
It's very peaceful here. And it's funny to see trees modeled by humans for their shapes, in the middle of nature doing like it wants to do. Thank you for the walk!
