My most recent trip to the Stationery Show was this year and was unfortunately a bit of a damper - literally. It was pouring rain and my friend and I were stuck in line for over 3 hours because the Show burst in popularity and the lineup doubled in length. It literally just wrapped around block after block after block. The stuff inside was still good but I literally felt my feet turned to mold outside being so soaked in the rain. And yes I had an umbrella. The good news is, after this year's Fall show, they will be moving out of Parkdale Hall and hopefully to somewhere larger to accommodate them. (To be clear, Parkdale Hall is not a bad location, it is just no longer big enough to accommodate the number of people who want to see the show) If you're wondering why I'm going on about the Stationery Show and Parkdale Hall on a Cookie Coffee post, after we went to the Show, we went across the street diagonally to Osprey Cafe where my friend ordered this large chocolate chunk cookie and coffee. As you can see from the image, they are generous with their portions there. I didn't have any, but my friend said it was a very good cookie.
