our country (america) is going through a massive anti-diversity moment, and it's soooooo tiresome. These images ooze with the beauty of global community, in the different cultures, races, hues, style of dress, etc, that you portray...and the love you captured in each one. It's a beautiful series. We just had an uproar here, because people posted photos of Indian-Americans (asian Indian) at a football game. All the post-ers did was 'post' them, no more. Yet some MAGA people said what a shame that america now "looks" like this...so kudos for these images: They're beautiful. It's where we should be headed, rather than where we seem to be headed...a warm cornucopia of beautiful faces...

Yes, it has been noted worldwide that the current US administration is attempting to drive certain ethnic groups out of the country—specifically people of Hispanic descent. The erasure of Black people from military records and the denial of their contributions point in the same direction. Yet your country is the quintessential blueprint for a multi-ethnic state! It began when Europeans immigrated there; after all, they were originally strangers in the land themselves. Later, Black Africans and people from the Caribbean were brought in to perform the work that white people apparently considered themselves too good for. It is not as if these people came to the USA voluntarily; yet, over time, they arrived and became part of the nation... until a mentally unstable man and his entourage decided they were no longer needed and viewed them as a nuisance. And how is one not supposed to despair of humanity...

We just want the world to know that there are many of us who don't support the actions you described, and we hope, dearly, that we will elect much more humane and open leaders, and soon. (Our Supreme Court finally showed its spine today.) We are working hard. Cities like Minneapolis showed such courage. We hope for hope...
