Description
The shift change was smooth and light. Talk of the ships new cook, and the change of Captains.
"Bananaaaaah!" The toy blared out as it struck the floor. The pup rose and stared down at the fallen toy for a moment. With a small snarl, it leaped.
They watched the pup attack the toy with amusement for a moment, the returned their attention to their instruments.
"Ever been there?" Minaya asked.
"Earth." Navarre chuckled lightly. "Heard of it. A few light studies. But the son of a Klingon fleet commander on Earth." He shook his head with a laugh. "That would never happen."
"Nevada." She stated dreamily. "I spent a lot of time there with my Grandparents. I can still remember the feel of the sun on my face."
"Sounds nice."
"No place like it." She smiled fondly, her eyes taking on a distant look. "It will be good to be back."
