The Black Swamp Snake prefers swampland habitat that is heavily vegetated. It is almost entirely aquatic, spending most of its time hiding among dense vegetation.

I like how you have the snake going across the water. I had the luck of seeing just once in my lifetime a snake going across the surface of the pond, it's quite a sight to see!
