Description
The castle has been under siege for more than a month now, but no help has come. Food and water are still adequate, but the defenders are just too few. Yesterday the enemy captured the outer wall. Unless God sends a miracle, today they will overwhelm the keep, and all those who remain within will be captured or killed. The end has come.

That is beautiful. That sad, pensive expression, that beautiful dress—truly just beautiful.
Nooooo ! Please, don't caprture or kill this beauty !
Awesome!!
She is so beautiful !!!!
Super Medieval / fantasy style scene..
..beautiful "classical" portrait and excellent (sad) expression
Expressive portrait
to me one of your very best to date.
So the keep needs a miracle?
No problem. I'll make a quick call to some friends. My Piranna or Polaris would greatly enjoy a pleasant distraction of ripping the enemy to shreds;-)
Super !
Her facial expression captures it all. And the short story captures the struggle any side has felt when they were just about to lose. The loss and painful consequence of losing in a war.
And all the loss that happened leading up to it.
A beautiful woman. For some reason, I'm drawn to her expression.
Fantastic image fantasy!! Great job my friend 👍🙋♂️
Very beautifully done!
She looks resigned to to her fate. Beutifully done.
Very lovely work!
Lets hope the occupants get a surprise hero that comes to their rescue soon enough...great job with this character! :)
Very dignified lady !
The image is lovely and the story behind it intriquing.
Miracle are still possible with knights in quest passing not far.
I'm with JohnnyM's comment. The neighboring duke's army smashes the enemy and huis son brings a smile to her beautiful face!
Excellent - like a David Gemmell book (Druss will save the day)
Her expression really tells the story! Fantastic work!
Super job, very nice render.
