Steve, I'm very sorry for the painful memories are so close now...it's a testament to your love for your mom, but I know it's very hard. This was the first visiting-day since she passed? I wish you much healing. I know these memories will visit you for a while to come.
She worked for the military (your bio was so rich): Did she know planes? I wonder what she'd think of this. Love how people painted planes in those days---lots of planes had paintings like this. Love the capture---she dominates the whole plane in this shot.
