Alice, mesmerized by the blue butterfly, tries to catch it through the looking glass while not realizing she may yet fall down the rabbit hole. Date Published: August 08, 2026 This is actually my fourth (fifth or maybe even sixth?) attempt at this scene. I keep going back and changing/improving various things. Mainly because I want this scene to be “just right” and also be the start of a new series of my own colorful/psychedelic interpretations of scenes from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll. I have three more scenes in the works with a total of twenty planned scenes. We shall see how many I actually get done! All will feature this same Alice which took forever for me to get looking the way I want her to. She’s inspired by the original illustrations with much “artistic license” to enhance the colorful psychedelic theme of it all. I want to thank my friends on Facebook for giving me so much valuable feedback on how to improve this scene and my Alice as I was working on them and posting test previews. The scene is better for it, and so am I. While I was perfecting my little Alice, I ended up creating several variations of dress textures because I was having so much trouble settling on a design. My friend Sally said I should send them over to the Renderosity Marketplace. So, I did! You will hopefully be seeing “Alice’s Closet for Bad Girl Good Girl Fashion” by Dream9Studios at Renderosity soon! I also created matching boots for all of the dresses. The boots I downloaded from Free Stuff for La Femme 2. I’m not sure what to do with those textures. The dress is originally for V4 but, like most V4 dynamic clothing, can be used on La Femme 2 as you see here. I might submit them to Free Stuff. I haven’t decided yet. Anyone want to weigh in on that?
