Description
Some weeks ago I was able to take a shot of a beautiful peacock.
There were white peacocks on the farm before I was there and I know, they were missed so badly.
And then I found the beautiful peacock from Ken :) and was able to create a picture, I had in mind right from the beginning.
Wasn't so easy to hide the claws (I'm not a post work person) but after several tries I came close enough (I hope)

Sure, you came close enough, NenaLouise. It's a very beautiful scene with lot of lovely details, such as the little lantern, that plant in the white pot or bowl and the wooden card. I guess the trees are a photograph made by you. btw. I'm not a post work person too. ;-)
Thank you so much β₯ You're right, it's a photo, except the white peacock. Taken at a very special beautiful place in Denmark. Gonna visit next month again :)
Outstanding awesome composition, gorgeous environment and lighting, and those beauties are straight from the beautiful scene, brilliant render.
Magnificent Masterpiece of Finest Arts. I love it!ππ₯°π€
Thank you π
Well, the composition wasn't done by me, the owner of the place really made the surrounding beautiful. All I did was to place the white peacock into the scene and a lot of post work, to let it look like as it he isn't just a 3d bird.
those are amazing birds.
Yes they are :) and even they are pretty noisy, for me it sounds like cats, weird, but they do.
Gelungen wΓΌrde ich sagen.
Vielen Dank π
I'm with Jacomina (Mies)---this turned out beautifully. You mentioned the claws: I'm not sure why you wanted to hide them? Personally I think they're fine. And the added (white) peacock blends in very naturally, to my eye. (It adds a big shot of pure white into this very green image.) The photo is both packed/lush, but very peaceful. Makes me want to be there. Very sweet photo.
When I was 5, I saw my first peacock. I kept asking my parents, "why is its TAIL so long???" I asked over and over---they did their best to come up with answers (they didn't know, lol, but they came up with some wild answers). Then, suddenly, the peacock opened its tail, and I almost fell over! I screamed, "Wow! WOW WOW WOW!" (Over and over.) My parents had to shut me up because I was disturbing the other viewers. I couldn't believe that any creature could have such a massive and blasting "gown" like that! I asked if the bird was royalty, or just had lots and lots of money (to afford such a tail). (like it got its clothes from Paris, like Dior...I didn't know those names then, but I was imagining them getting personally fitted the way my father would get alterations for his suits...) They gave me all kinds of answers until my father---who was dying to shut me up---finally said: "God decided to buy extra nice clothes for them." Ok. I liked that. But then---poor Dad---I felt bad for the other birds who just got "short" tails...Anyway, I know the thrill of a peacock in person---they're majestic!
Thank you so much π and for this wonderful story as well ππ
This here is the original photo I took https://3dgalleria.it/render/picture.php?/58/category/10
And that's the reason why I was working on hiding the claws from the white 3d peacock. If he really would had been there, we wouldn't be able to see the front part of his claws π
Btw. I took this photo in Denmark, a small island with just some houses, but a big jazz festival every year. FemΓΈ Jazz Festival takes place once every year π
I saw your original photo---it's beautiful and very peaceful. I like the mix of lush greenerey with the cart and house, which frame the shot sweetly. And then, I looked at the original peacock dancing: Wow! I'd never seen that before! I knew peacocks spread their wings to attract a mate...but I'd never seen that dance! It's a quick, nervous dance, like he is very, very anxious to get started! Amazing energy. And with a wing-span like that, I can see how other peacocks would notice him from afar. Thanks for the link.
And re Max from Star Wars: I've seen a lot of film, but I'm totally embarrassed to say that I haven't seen most of the Star War films. I realize that puts me back in the 18th Century, but I just never saw them. So I wouldn't have known the reference. (I was a musician years back, so I love the idea of that big 'container' being an instrument.) You use that character very well.
Thank you so much ππ₯°
He was dancing a lot and calling a lot and one day, it was really windy, he was sitting on the roof of the house, trying to hold the balance. It was so amazing to watch.
Oh don't you worry about not seen a movie or two. I was never into Star wars myself, my sons took me with into the cinema, so I saw one of all the Star wars movies. My time was Star Trek, the original series, with William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy and all the others.
Whoa. This looks really real, very fantastic work! I know you combined it with a photo which helps a lot with the realism (lovely photo too!) but it's a nice pretty seamless addition
Thank you very much ππ₯°
I used the photo as background in daz studio and removed the front of paws from the white peacock in Photoshop (CS5), that would be hidden for our eyes anyway (as long as we can't look through wood lol)
@NenaLuise Very clever seaming! :) Thanks for the details into the process
You're welcome :) and thanks again for your comment and compliment π₯°
