Terrific use of light adds to this interesting concept. Love the footprints leading back to the gate as well. The question arises: is that airborne creature malevolent or not?

Great scene! I am so glad I grabbed that little free creature years ago. I've used it so many times.

Yeah, I think this little guy is from Summoner. He had some nice freebies.

you really do have an eye for deep mystery, beautiful distant landscapes, landscapes of the imagination, and so on...love how the 'gate' is an opening to another dimension, or at least to another world. And it's the only green in the image...

The rest is awash is beautiful gold sepias and browns and yellows. I love the gigantic head in the sand. And the flying dragon? bat? whatever it is, it's got a beautiful deep orange-red hue. And the single wanderer. A very enticing scene...a place outside of time...well done!

Thank you! That's exactly what I hope a scene like this can do — leave enough unanswered questions for the viewer to create their own story. I especially like that you saw the green gate as an opening to another world. And yes, the creature flying above the ruins is deliberately left a little ambiguous. Dragon? Bat? Something else entirely? I think the wanderer might be the only one who knows… if he survives the journey. :D
